The Derby Handgun Challenge @ Derby RPC
Aug 20 – Aug 21 all-day

The Derby Handgun Challenge

The Club is pleased to announce that for 2022 there will be a new event in the Gallery Rifle calendar, the DERBY HANDGUN CHALLENGE, to be held on Saturday and Sunday August 20/21.

This Open event will be for LBPs and LBRs and will offer eight events plus a Practical Shoot run by Team Smoothy.

The events will be: TP1, TP2, TP3, Multi-Target, Phoenix A, WA48, 1020, 1500.

There will be a pay once aggregate to cover all the events with one handgun or an entry fee for individual events for those who don’t or can’t do the positional shooting. The aggregate will require 494 rounds – quite a marathon, and it can be done in one day shooting many events back to back. Start reloading now.

There will be spaces for 64 competitors, perhaps a few more if the squadding can be tweaked.

The 2023 CRC Spring Action Weekend @ CHELMSFORD (1944) RIFLE CLUB – March 4th / March 5th 2022

Chelmsford Rifle Club is hosting two weekends of action shooting in 2023.  A classified “warm up” to the full competition season in March and a final close to the season in November.

Chelmsford has 5 lanes of 25M indoor shooting, decent facilities, and a comfortable lounge to keep out of the cold if we have inclement weather, there’s plenty of parking and lunch will be included for all.

Each weekend, we’ll be shooting from 9am through to 5pm but we’re flexible on hours and can extend if required to accommodate more shooters.

On the back of previous competitions we’ll be running similar comps again – TP1, TP3, 1020, MT, WA48, again all classified (where appropriate) and scored properly.

Accepting entries for GRSB, GRCF, Classic, LBP and LBR.

The team look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
