New Long Range Events at the Nationals
Four new long range events are available at the Gallery Rifle National Championships which are not described or documented in the rule book. The course of fire for all gun types will be the same as event 6380 – 200m fullbore any rifle, and will be shot at Short Siberia range.
The events are as follows:
- 6301 – 200m GRSB
- 6301 – 200m GRCF
- 6303 – 200m GRCF Open
- 6304 – 200m GRCF Classic
General Conditions are as follows:
- Bipods, sandbags and front rests are allowed
- Single point slings and shooting gloves are not allowed.
- Shooting jackets may be used if not attached to slings.
Target: DP1
Course of fire: 40 shots + 4 non-scoring sighters
Practice 1: prone
- 4 sighters and 10 shots to count in 5 minutes
Practice 2: prone
- 10 shots to count in 1 minute
Practice 3: kneeling
- 10 shots to count in 5 minutes
Practice 4: kneeling
- 10 shots to count in 1 minute
