Medals – This year two new fields have been added allowing the competitor to select from three options as to how they would like to receive any prizes they are eligible for. The options are, to leave the box blank resulting in no formal prize being awarded (your score will still be published online), tick the medal box resulting in the issuing of a medal or tick the certificate box resulting in a certificate being issued. Competitors can select different options of awards for each shoot they enter if necessary.

Prize giving – Following the success of last year’s prize giving, we will follow the same schedule. Once shooting finishes on all ranges at 1400 on Sunday, results will be finalised by stats, during this time a raffle will be held in the club house with tea and coffee available from the kitchen. Final results will then be read out for aggregates and trophies awarded. Medals will be posted to winners post competition or handed to winners at the next national competition. Provisional results will be made available within an hour of the last shoot and shall remain open to appeal for 7 days post event (they’ll also be posted on the GR website within a few days), after this time final results will be published and medals or certificates will be issued based on the final results.

Prizes will be awarded based on the below criteria.

  • Less than 6 entrants in any event or class – First place only will be awarded
  • 5 to 7 entrants in any event or class – Second place will be awarded additionally
  • If there are 8 or more entrants in a single event or class – Third place will also be awarded
