A Gallery Rifle Competition Coaching Day

As a perfect precursor to the 2017 competition season, we are offering a Gallery Rifle Competition Coaching Day at Frome and District Pistol Club Ltd’s new range complex in Shepton Mallet. This is a unique opportunity to be individually coached by members of the Great Britain Gallery Rifle squad through specific aspects of the 1500 match. The techniques learnt and honed through this are transferable to a wide range of GR competitions.
The day will cover:
• Basic shooting techniques: trigger control, sights, aiming etc
• Shooting positions: standing unsupported (or supported – LBR/LBP); standing unsupported weak shoulder (or supported – LBR/LBP), sitting, kneeling
• 1500 match specifics: position and changing position, timings, speed and accuracy, loading, reloading, practice and more practice!
• Competition shooting: preparation, awareness, attitude and approach
