Calendar of Events
Event organizers are encouraged to submit as much information as possible and make available entry forms or contact email addresses for general inquiries. You can subscribe using your own calendar application or link it to Google Calendar for easy access via mobile devices.
The 2026 dates are now as shown. The calendar will be kept up to date as the season progresses when entry forms and additional information gets added – or updated.
JSPC 2026 Autumn Open Shorts Championships
Fully classified Matches for

CentreFire and Small Bore Gallery Rifle and Long Barrelled Revolver and Pistol matches available
Details and Entry forms available from the Joint Servces Pistol Club website. Please Note
- There is no RO day. All competitors, incl. staff, need to book and shoot sometime over the days Friday to Sunday inclusive.
- Competitors will be expected to score each other.
- Squadding details will be issued to entrants prior to the competition.
- Parking space is limited. To try and reduce any difficulties, please car share where possible.
- Catering facilities will be available on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2026 Gallery Rifle National OPEN Championships
Slightly later in the month than the traditional slot – a weekend to compete and be crowned a National Champion. This event is predominantly for Gallery Rifles, (Centrefire and Smallbore) and Long Barrelled Revolvers and Pistols. Competitions available for:
- 25m and 50m precision
- Multi-Target
- Advancing Target
- The 1500
- Bianchi
- Timed and Precision matches
- Speed Steel Challenge.
Also some short-range competitions for older military firearms and the McQueen shoot for any rifle.

The 2026 Cornish Open
- IGRF Aggregate:- 50mPrecision/ TP1/ Multi/ 1500; Individual FREE entry
GRCF and GRSB trophies available - Pasty Challenge:- Three person Team log chop 25m, 1 centre fire & 1 Rimfire must be used.
Shot daily during the lunch hour; £6 per Team/ pay on day.

The 2026 Trafalgar Meeting
Shooters with a historical inclination will turn towards the Trafalgar Meeting as memories of the Imperial fade. “Spirit of the Original” is the ethos of the meeting so don’t be fooled into thinking expensive original firearms are all that can be used here.
Don’t forget to apply for the well supported Trafalgar Dinner held on the Saturday night. And in addition to all the shooting the shooting there is an Arms and Militaria Fair held in Bisley Pavilion.

The BDMP Gallery Rifle Championships
(and 2026 IGRF/German Open)
Held at the Leitmar Range Complex in Germany.
Also including Shorts and 1500 matches.
British Young Shooters (BYSA)
November Bonfire Bonanza event
One of two weekend events aimed to offer BYSA members the opportunity to shoot on the NRA’s ranges in Bisley and to introduce a number of shooting disciplines.
A weekend full of shooting, coaching, learning new skills, food and fun! Participants will usually have the opportunity to shoot one of the NRAs Fullbore shooting disciplines, including: Target Rifle, Civilian Service Rifle, Historic Rifle, Gallery Rifle & Pistol and Match Rifle.
