Event organizers are encouraged to submit as much information as possible and make available entry forms or contact email addresses for general inquiries. You can subscribe using your own calendar application or link it to Google Calendar for easy access via mobile devices.
Most 2022 events are now (theoretically) confirmed – however continue to check back. The calendar will be kept up to date as the season progresses when entry forms and additional information gets added – or removed.

For those who have been here before we look forward to seeing you all again and for those of you visiting Ireland for the first time we’re very excited to meet you all.

The 2022 NASRPC Irish Open
will be hosted in
Bracken Gun Club
the weekend of July 1-3
Bracken is located just outside Strabane, Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland.

For Visitors from Britain, this means they do not need visitor permits to bring their firearms to Northern Ireland – and all competitions on offer are available to them.
Everyone else will require a PSNI Visitor Permit to bring their firearms into Northern Ireland – contact NASRPC who will co-ordinate this process.

Scottish open Gallery Rifle Championships
The 2022 Scottish Gallery Rifle and Pistol Championship will be held on the 9-10th July at JSPC Ranges near Galashiels where a series of short events will be held. The Championship for Rifle will be held concurrently with a Championship for Long Barrelled Revolver and Pistol.
This competition is open to all and is a NRA-registered event. Scores will be submitted to the NRA for inclusion in the Gallery Rifle Ranking Tables and Gallery Rifle Classification. RO day will take place on the Friday 8th July
NRA Imperial Historic Arms Meeting.
Original or spirit of the original welcome at this meeting.
A plethora of events for Rifle, Pistol and Gallery Rifle. Don’t think this meeting is just for the historians and 19th Century aficionados. Plenty of events which can be entered with your modern day Marlins, Winchesters, Lee Enfields and Mausers.
The Gallery Rifle and Pistol meeting at the Imperial.
The meeting contains a mixture of squadded trophy matches and unlimited entry events. The meeting will run from Wednesday to Sunday.
Unlimited entry events will run throughout the meeting with Trophy matches running on Saturday and Sunday morning.

The Welsh Open 1500 and Shorts Championships
To be held at Haverfordwest Target Shooting Club – Pembrokeshire’s finest shooting ground.
29th – 31 July 2022
This year we’re happy to get back to hosting a home countries match (HCM) running shoulder to shoulder on the Sunday afternoon.
The Derby Handgun Challenge
The Club is pleased to announce that for 2022 there will be a new event in the Gallery Rifle calendar, the DERBY HANDGUN CHALLENGE, to be held on Saturday and Sunday August 20/21.
This Open event will be for LBPs and LBRs and will offer eight events plus a Practical Shoot run by Team Smoothy.
The events will be: TP1, TP2, TP3, Multi-Target, Phoenix A, WA48, 1020, 1500.
There will be a pay once aggregate to cover all the events with one handgun or an entry fee for individual events for those who don’t or can’t do the positional shooting. The aggregate will require 494 rounds – quite a marathon, and it can be done in one day shooting many events back to back. Start reloading now.
There will be spaces for 64 competitors, perhaps a few more if the squadding can be tweaked.

The 2022 Gallery Rifle National OPEN Championships
A weekend to compete and be crowned a National Champion. This event is predominantly for Gallery Rifles, (Centrefire and Smallbore) and Long Barrelled Revolvers and Pistols. Competitions available for:
- 25m and 50m precision
- Multi-Target
- Advancing Target
- The 1500
- Bianchi
- Timed and Precision matches
- Speed Steel Challenge.
Also some short-range competitions for older military firearms and the McQueen shoot for any rifle.

The 2022 Police Meeting @ Bisley
A plethora of shooting events on offer for this meeting. To include
- On Melville Ranges – Advancing Target, T&P1, Multi target for both GRCF, GRSB, LBP and LBR
- Black powder matches
- Sport Pistol matches Lord Roberts Centre
- Prone rifle, 3P, Air Rifle / Pistol and 50m pistol
- On Century + Stickledown full bore target rifle/ FTR and F Open, practical rifle, and a McQueens Rifle comp

The SLG Bisley 1500 and Shorts
A return to Melville in late September for some 1500 and shorts matches organized by SLG Bisley.
Just a one day event but cheap accommodation should be easily available on the camp at that time of year. After the event all competitors are invited over to the SPOTT for prizegiving and (maybe) a few drinks.

Budleigh Farm Rimfire Festival
Falling plate target shooting competitions held at the Budleigh Farm Shooting ground in the glorious rolling hills of the Dartmoor National park in Devon.
Designed to be both fun and challenging it is suitable for novice and experienced GRSB/LSR .22 shooters alike and will test both speed and precision shooting at a variety of steel shapes at different ranges.
Whatever your ability the instant gratification on hearing the “plink” and watching the target fall just can’t be beat!

Gallery Rifle & Pistol Intro Course
This course will introduce you to specific techniques needed for Gallery Rifle and Pistol shooting at a Club level, as well as providing guidance to those wishing to progress into competitive shooting. The Course will involve both classroom and practical range work with expert coaching from National and International level shooters.

The 2022 Trafalgar Meeting
Shooters with a historical inclination will turn towards the Trafalgar Meeting as memories of the Imperial fade. “Spirit of the Original” is the ethos of the meeting so don’t be fooled into thinking expensive original firearms are all that can be used here.
Don’t forget to apply for the well supported Trafalgar Dinner held on the Saturday night. And in addition to all the shooting the shooting there is an Arms and Militeria Fair held in Bisley Pavilion.

The 2022 Autumn Action Weekend
This is the last of the years main Gallery Rifle Action Weekends that encourages Gallery Rifle shooting for the Gallery Rifle community who visit Bisley.
This meeting includes competitions for Gallery Rifles both Smallbore and Centrefire and Long Barrelled Revolvers and Pistols. There are also competitions for those of you who have an interest in Target Shotgun. For shooters who crave longer distances there are Fullbore competitions held simultaneously at 200 yards.

The 2022 Chelmsford Winter Action Weekend
Chelmsford Rifle Club is pleased to announce that it is hosting a classified “cool down” to the full 2022 competition season in November.
Chelmsford has 5 lanes of 25M indoor shooting, decent facilities, and a comfortable lounge to keep out of the cold if we have inclement weather, there’s plenty of parking and lunch will be included for all.
The team look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

The 2023 Cheshunt Open
Cheshunt RPC will again be holding a one day Open competition on their indoor range on the 11th February 2023. On offer will be a T&P 1, T&P3, MT, WA48, 1020, Mini McQueens and the Cheshunt Style Advancing Target.
This a great opportunity to get some shooting done in the “quiet” part of the usual competition circuit.
After the success of the 2022 shoot this will be our second event for quite a few years and we are really looking forwards to welcoming back some new and old faces back to Cheshunt.

The 2023 Chelmsford Spring Action Weekend

Chelmsford Rifle Club is hosting two weekends of action shooting in 2023. A classified “warm up” to the full competition season in March and a final close to the season in November.
Each weekend, we’ll be shooting from 9am through to 5pm but we’re flexible on hours and can extend if required to accommodate more shooters.
